Electrical Project Engineer (with LEW ) , up to 7K , East, Singapore

About the role

A one-stop Electrical Consultancy, engineering firm who is also BizSafe Certified, ISO Certified with diverse clients in the commercial and industrial sectors. This is a full-time, on-site role for a Licensed Electrical Worke r (Senior Executive /AM ) , ideal for an independent thinker with strong project execution, stakeholder management, and technical expertise in power solutions. In this position you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that 'bring ideas to life' for our clients across all types of infrastructure projects. The individual will be responsible for overseeing electrical systems maintenance and operations, conducting inspections, ensuring compliance with regulations, and addressing technical issues. Key duties also include troubleshooting, managing projects involving electrical systems, coordinating with vendors and stakeholders, and supporting sustainable energy practices. The role requires excellence in safety, efficiency, and accuracy in execution.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance, inspection, and testing of LT electrical installations as per EMA requirements
• Assist LEW / Professional Engineer in switching operations of electrical panels
• Perform troubleshooting and rectification of electrical faults
• Conduct site inspections in compliance with EMA regulations and safety standards
• Attend to emergency breakdown calls and standby duties when required
• Prepare basic service reports, checklists, and maintenance records
• Supervise and coordinate with subcontractors for maintenance works
• Ensure all work activities comply with workplace safety requirements
• High level engineering consulting and client management skills, experienced in the delivery of major and/or complex design projects
• Carry out Feasibility, Conceptual, Preliminary and Detailed Design Site works for Electrical Services for public and commercial projects

Requirements

• Recognized diploma / Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore) in power engineering from public university in Malaysia (for Malaysia applicants)
• Three or more years of experience in carrying project engineering in related field Electrical services, project management and supervision.
• Conversant with the Codes of Practice and regulations
• QA/QC/IEC quality assurance
• Skilled in CAD software
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills as well as strong command of the English & local language, both verbal and written.

• Able to manage customer's escalation.
