Product Design Manager - Reality Labs

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Product Design
• 3+ years of design leadership experience with direct reports under your guidance and leadership
• 6+ years of experience working collaboratively with product, engineering, content, data science and user research teams
• Experience leading product direction and strategic thinking with the experience developing product goals, identify opportunities, and make decisions based on the impact to people and the company
• Experience representing work to a broader product team and other leaders, clearly and succinctly communicating goals and strategy
• Experience building and shipping applications or software across a variety of platforms
• Experience working on large scale, complex projects across multiple organization pillars
• Experience with delivering 0-1 products from concept stages to launch
• Experience working in Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality environments
• Experience designing for hardware products and new interaction models
• User Interface/Interaction development experience in a 3D product

• $165,000/year to $231,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

As a key member of our leadership team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define the strategy, operations, and communications that guide the team in building high-quality products.In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing teams to ensure our products and features are valuable, easy to use, and of the highest level of craft and execution. You will work closely with your counterparts in product, engineering, data science, UX research, content design, and other disciplines to build great products that address real user needs.To succeed in this role, you will need to utilize your full range of people management skills, product strategy, product design, interaction design, and visual design skills. You should have experience in product design leadership, communication, and people management, as well as a passion for creating innovative solutions that meet the needs of our users.
