Responsibilities

  • End-to-end team member lifecycle: Set strategy and ensure strong execution across hiring, onboarding, performance, development, engagement and retention

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in People, Culture or HR (ideally as a generalist, HRBP or People leader), with at least 3 years of experience directly leading and managing teams
  • Previous success leading and influencing in small to mid-sized, high-growth or evolving organizations with the ability to gain credibility and trust at all levels
  • Strong business acumen, operational rigor and ability to align talent strategy to business outcomes
  • Experience coaching and advising senior leaders on complex talent management and organizational design issues
  • Previous experience owning at least two core HR functions (e.g., performance, rewards, talent acquisition, organizational development) and associated change management
  • Strong understanding of distributed team dynamics and what it takes to build culture and effective communication pathways in a fully remote workforce
  • Working knowledge of multi-state employment law and HR compliance
  • Proficiency with a modern HR tech stack to include Gusto, Rippling, Greenhouse and/or Lattice
  • A mission-driven orientation to all you do

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent career experience

You're an experienced, purpose-driven People & Culture leader. We're EngagedMD and we have a patient journey management platform used by more than 3 million clinicians and patients nationwide and internationally since its launch. We continue to ee enormous growth and adoption from medical clinics across multiple markets. We're hiring a Head of People to serve as a trusted thought partner to senior leadership and a force multiplier for how leaders lead, with an eye toward evolving our organizational structure for maximum velocity and success. Reporting to one of our co-founder/co-CEOs, you will lead a small People team and improve on a strong foundation of existing systems and programs. This is an exciting opportunity to join us in our mission to help carers carry on caring. You will own the full employee lifecycle at EngagedMD-from hiring and onboarding through development, performance, engagement and retention-setting strategy while ensuring your team delivers high-quality and tangible results. This role operates at the center of the business and requires executional, strategic and relational rigor. You'll partner closely with leaders to improve decision-making, strengthen leadership effectiveness, raise the talent bar and bring greater clarity and consistency to how people are led-without requiring perfect alignment to do so. Candidates are required to reside in the United States. This role requires legal authorization to work in the United States. EngagedMD is unable to sponsor current H1B visa holders for this role.
