Sr. Manufactuing Engineer

Responsibilities

• ⦿ Shop Floor Engagement: Maintain a strong presence on the shop floor, building credibility through listening and collaboration with operators, supervisors, and leadership. Incorporate operator input into process improvements and adapt approaches to the unionized environment.
• ⦿ Technical Expertise: Apply structured problem-solving, process capability analysis, and engineering economic tools to evaluate and reduce process variation. Use Design for Manufacturability concepts and industry research to innovate manufacturing processes.
• ⦿ Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.

Requirements

• ⦿ Bachelor's degree in engineering (Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical preferred)
• ⦿ Minimum 6 years of manufacturing engineering experience
• ⦿ Proven Project Management skills related to Manufacturing Engineering Improvements.
• ⦿ Strong written and oral communication skills, adaptable to different audiences
• ⦿ Experience managing projects from scoping to execution, including schedule and cost development
• ⦿ Hands-on manufacturing environment experience with a willingness to work on the floor alongside operators
• ⦿ Mechanical hobbies or interests that demonstrate practical skills and curiosity
• ⦿ Experience leading change through influence
