Job Description Reporting to the VP/GM, Global Commercial HVAC, this role is responsible for defining and executing the Oil-Free Centrifugal (OFC) strategy across APAC and IMEA. The Program Leader will drive alignment on product roadmap, program priorities, and development execution, ensuring successful delivery of new product initiatives and regional growth. This role operates at the intersection of global product strategy and regional market execution. It partners closely with the global OFC product organization to deliver on worldwide development objectives while ensuring regional market needs are fully represented. The position has a dotted-line relationship to the VP of Asia Engineering and collaborates extensively with global engineering, sourcing, and advanced manufacturing teams to enable a consistent, scalable product platform. The Program Leader also works cross-functionally with regional sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure successful product launches and sustained commercial success across Asia Pacific and IMEA.
Responsibilities
- Program Strategy & Execution
- Define and drive program KPIs, performance metrics, and success criteria across product development, customer engagement, and growth initiatives
- Lead end-to-end execution of new product programs, ensuring alignment with global strategy and regional priorities
- Establish clear ownership, accountability, and governance to drive execution excellence and a high-performance culture
- Product & Market Alignment
- Partner with global and regional product management to define product roadmaps and detailed specifications
- Translate customer and market insights into actionable product requirements and business opportunities
- Support development of robust business cases, including ROI analysis and market opportunity assessment
- Cross-Functional Leadership
- Lead collaboration across engineering, sourcing, manufacturing, and commercial teams to deliver integrated solutions
- Drive NPD stage-gate reviews, ensuring alignment, transparency, and timely decision-making
- Coordinate global platform changes, prioritization, and resource allocation across regions
- Risk Management & Delivery
- Identify program risks and gaps proactively; develop and execute mitigation strategies
- Monitor progress and communicate status, challenges, and actions to stakeholders at all levels
- Ensure on-time, on-quality, and on-cost delivery of programs
- Commercial Support & Customer Engagement
- Partner with sales teams to support strategic opportunities and key customer engagements
- Provide leadership in securing wins for targeted business opportunities
- Guide development of product documentation and customer-facing materials
- Team & Capability Development
- Support hiring, onboarding, and development of the APAC OFC team
- Build organizational capability to sustain long-term growth and innovation
- Qualifications & Experience
- Proven leadership experience in product management, marketing, or business development within a global, matrixed organization
- Strong program and project management skills, with demonstrated success leading complex, cross-regional initiatives
- Experience working across Asia and/or Middle East & Africa markets preferred
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to align diverse stakeholders across functions and geographies
- Deep domain experience in HVAC/R, with specific expertise in centrifugal applications required
- Significant experience in product management or new product development strongly preferred
