About the role

We are looking for a Payroll Administrator to support the end-to-end payroll process for our client. The role combines operational payroll administration with stakeholder support, compliance, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will work closely with employees, managers, internal stakeholders, and external parties to ensure an accurate, efficient, and compliant payroll process. The company is a world-leading supplier of transport solutions and together with partners and customers, they are driving the transition to a sustainable transport system. The position is located at the company's headquarters in Södertälje, with the possibility to work from home 2-3 days a week.

Responsibilities

  • Manage payroll cases end-to-end, including new hires, employment changes, terminations, absences, allowances, deductions, and other payroll-related activities.
  • Provide day-to-day support and guidance to employees and managers on payroll-related matters.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure accurate payroll processing and output.
  • Maintain payroll-related documentation and records.
  • Support annual payroll activities, including calendar-year and vacation-year transitions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across the organization and with external parties such as suppliers and authorities when required.
  • Participate in and contribute to payroll-related projects and initiatives focused on digitalization, automation, and process improvements.
  • Support continuous improvement activities within the Payroll function.

Requirements

  • Vocational higher education qualification in Payroll (YH, 1.5-2 years)
  • At least 2 years of end-to-end payroll experience combined with a vocational payroll qualification, or 5+ years of operational payroll experience
  • Experience working with the SD Worx payroll system
  • Good knowledge of payroll-related laws and regulations
  • Professional proficiency in Swedish and English, written and spoken
  • Meritorious:
  • Experience working with different collective bargaining agreements
  • Experience with the Engineering Agreement (Teknikavtalet)
  • Experience working in large companies
  • Contract type and hours
  • Full-time consulting assignment for 6 months, with the possibility of an extension. Start 2026-08-04.
