About the role
As a Final Release Inspector, you'll be responsible for carrying out critical final inspections on parts and assemblies, ensuring they fully comply with company, industry and customer standards prior to release. To be successful in this role, you'll bring experience working within an aerospace environment, including exposure to the release of aerospace products. You'll have a strong understanding of industry standards such as AS9100 and be confident working with engineering drawings, build documentation and inspection processes. You'll be comfortable using a range of inspection tools and measurement equipment, with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of tolerances, traceability and record keeping. Strong problem- solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels will be essential, as you'll regularly collaborate to resolve quality issues and ensure smooth product release. You'll also be confident using systems and tools such as MS Office and ERP or PLM/ MES systems, and ideally have experience with First Article Inspection Reporting ( AS9102) and quality inspection practices within a regulated environment.
