Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary contributor to the design, development, integration, maintenance, and enhancement of the company's financial systems.
- Lead small projects or subprojects, sharing responsibility with team members for on-time product delivery.
- Support the financial systems integration of newly acquired businesses.
- Assist in the rollout of Fusion and related applications/bolt-ons to existing Avery Dennison businesses.

- PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Application Implementation, Development and Maintenance:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance existing applications using standard programming languages and established development methodologies.
- Stay current with new trends, tools, and techniques in application development.
- Assist in establishing and maintaining corporate standards for application development.
- System Analysis and Solution Delivery:
- Provide expert analysis, design, development, and integration services for business applications within assigned projects.
- Analyze business requirements, document them, and design or recommend cost-effective solutions.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure the quality and integrity of systems and applications.
- Create and maintain thorough documentation for all system changes and enhancements.
- Support and Compliance:
- Provide high-level customer service to all stakeholders.
- Offer troubleshooting support for existing applications, including Fusion, OracleR12, and various bolt-on applications.
- Ensure compliance with Avery Dennison's controls (SOX, Internal Audit, External Audit, etc.), policies, processes, and procedures.
- Project Monitoring:
- Monitor project status and report progress to management.
- Proactively identify and anticipate issues that could impede project goals and implement corrective actions.
- SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Strong functional/technical knowledge, with hands-on experience supporting Oracle Fusion financials
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms.
- Results oriented with the ability to demonstrate strong creative and analytical problem solving skills.
- Able to operate as a part of a team playing a key supporting role in the organizing, planning, and execution of large-scale projects from vision through implementation.

- Qualification & EXPERIENCE
- Essential
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Accounting, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience and technical training, is required.
- Oracle Fusion & OracleR12 Financials support - Five to ten years of experience in Oracle Financials modules support (resolving incidents and change requests)
- Oracle business application design - 10 years of experience of Oracle business application design, integration, installation, upgrade and modification, at least 4-5 years with Fusion AP/AR/GL/FA/Cash/Cost management. Fusion certification is a plus
- Good understanding of Financial and Accounting practices, desired Cost Accounting as well, accounting certification and experience is a plus
- Experience also required and certification desired in the following disciplines:
- Oracle Fusion (Finance modules)
- SQL / SQR / Query Tool
- eGate, MQ Series or other middleware
- EDI
- Advanced Excel / Advanced Google
- Incident Management Tools such as ServiceNow or similar technology
- Desirable
- Financial accounting qualification or experience, good understanding on Finance accounting and if possible, Cost accounting
- Test Management Tools such as HPQC or similar technology
- Change Management Tools such as Flexdeploy or similar technology
