Responsibilities
- Peer Review Management: Oversee the peer review process for assigned journals, ensuring adherence to speed and quality targets.

- Reporting & Analysis: Prepare reports and presentations to keep stakeholders informed about progress against KPIs.
- What are we looking for:
- Essential:
- A postgraduate qualification in Biomedical Sciences, Life Sciences, Chemistry, Physical Sciences, or Engineering. Candidates with postgraduate qualifications in other disciplines are welcome to apply, provided they have relevant journal management experience and skills.
- Understanding of academic publishing and peer review processes.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with excellent command of English spelling and grammar.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks to deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
- Desirable:
- Prior experience in academic publishing, manuscript desk assessment or peer review processes.
- Experience in process-driven workflows and customer-facing roles.
- Familiarity with online submission platforms like ScholarOne™ or Editorial Manager®.
- An interest in academic publishing and awareness of market trends.
