Requirements

• Medical Degree
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Eligible to obtain a New York Medical License and DEA License
• THE OPPURTUNITY:
• Full-time position
• General Obstetrics hospital day or night shift coverage
• Work in a large, thriving department with support from nine academic divisions including:
• Family Planning, Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery, Fetal Medicine and Ultrasound, Maternal Fetal Medicine, Gynecologic Oncology, Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery, Reproductive Endocrinology, and Infertility, Reproductive and Medical Genetics
• Full integration into departmental educational activities, including simulation, grand rounds, resident education, and diversity and inclusion activities

• THE DEPARTMENT : The Department is centered on providing comprehensive health care to women and is recognized nationally and internationally for their clinical, education and research achievements focused on improving patient outcomes.
• COMPENSATION : In addition to a competitive salary of $205,000-400,000, we offer the opportunity to make more income with additional call responsibilities and productivity incentives. LTD, STD, paid malpractice, health, dental, vision and a 403(b) are also offered.

Our objective is to recruit a clinically sound, mission-driven, and compassionate physician/educator dedicated to the provision of care to the local community in Bronx County, New York City. THE CANDIDATE : The candidate must be capable of working with residents, medical students, fellows, and advanced practice providers (NP/PA) in labor and delivery, the operating rooms, and inpatient units. The candidate must demonstrate the ability provide antenatal care, intrapartum management to deliveries, and patient education in a fast-paced, high acuity, patient-centered environment and be committed to social justice and providing equitable care to patients from diverse backgrounds
