About the role

As a Maintenance Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting the efficiency and reliability of the Richmond Hill, ON facility, a quality manufacturer of aseptic products. You will ensure the availability of maintenance parts and supplies by managing inventory, coordinating procurement activities, and partnering closely with the maintenance team to minimize downtime and support uninterrupted plant operations. You'll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to: Own the site's inventory control program, including establishing minimum stock levels and economic order quantities to ensure efficient operations Evaluate and recommend improvements to storeroom layout, organization, and procedures to enhance efficiency and accessibility Purchase MRO materials to maintain appropriate inventory levels and support plant operations Partner with maintenance and cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize purchasing needs Expedite incoming material shipments and proactively communicate status updates to stakeholders to prevent operational delays Source critical repair parts and identify suitable substitutes when materials or services are unavailable Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure timely access to parts and services Perform regular inventory analyses to determine optimal stock levels and adjust strategies as needed Support other departments with purchasing requests to ensure smooth and efficient operations across the site Maintain accurate inventory and purchasing records within applicable systems Participate in continuous improvement efforts related to inventory management and procurement processes Perform other duties as assigned Important Details: This is a full-time, on-site role on First Shift. Occasional flexibility is required to support alternate shifts. The anticipated compensation for this position ranges from $52,000.00 - 78,000.00 CAD annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics and business or organizational needs.
