About the role

About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Community Center at Seymour Johnson AFB. This position is a Flexible position. Hours for this position will be determined by the facility manager and can range from 0-40 hours per week depending on the needs of the facility. Who May Apply: Open to everyone. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Work experience is desired but not required. Must have ability to communicate both orally and in writing. Must possess skill in dealing with the public. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a Tier 1 background investigation. Must complete and pass a pre-employment physical to meet lifting requirements. This is a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Testing Program and must pass a drug test as a condition of employment. Incumbent is subject to random drug testing for drug use. Must have a valid state driver's license. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
