Mechanical Service Engineer (SUBMARINE)

Responsibilities

• Assist in manpower and resource scheduling and deployment, daily man-hour returns and coordinate all aspects of site issues for repair projects
• Liaise with Client and comply with inspection requirements
• Monitor job progress and ensure quality work at targeted schedule
• Study and evaluate the work processes and methods of the department and explore new ideas to improve work quality and productivity
• Resolve any technical problems or issues with Client
• Evaluate technical and engineering requirements of the jobs
• Obtain and monitor drawings and technical information
• Prepare reports on job status and project completion
• Conduct Risk Assessment and hazard reporting
• Attend VSCC Meeting, progress meeting , production meeting etc
• Bi-Weekly Production Planning

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Marine/Mechanical Engineering or related fields
• Preferably with 2-5 years' working experience in a shipyard
• No prior experience are also welcome to apply
• Knowledge in Ship Repairs and Conversions projects will be advantageous
• Willing to be hands-on
• Able to work under outdoor site environment- Grease and Dust
• Resourceful, committed, independent and a good team player
• Only Singapore Citizens Need Apply
• Other Information:
• Location: Changi
• 5 days work week
• Working Hours: 7.45am-5pm
