Work you will do This role sits within the Artificial Intelligence & Data team of Deloitte Southeast Asia, a group that leverages modern AI, machine learning, and data technologies to solve complex business challenges. As a leader in this space, you will drive the strategy, development, and delivery of AI-powered solutions across industries, focusing on Generative AI, agent-based AI, large language models (LLMs), and advanced data ecosystems. You will be instrumental in guiding clients through their AI transformation journeys-from data readiness and governance to model deployment and enterprise-scale adoption-by building secure, scalable, and ethical AI solutions using the latest platforms from OpenAI, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, AWS, and other emerging leaders in the AI ecosystem. As a Leader, you will: Lead multidisciplinary teams in delivering AI transformation programs that embed advanced technologies, including LLMs, AI agents, and decision intelligence-into core business operations. Design and scale intelligent systems using GenAI models (e.g. GPT, Claude, Gemini) for enterprise applications such as knowledge management, synthetic data generation, autonomous agents, and customer experience automation. Partner closely with clients to assess data and AI maturity, define responsible AI strategies, and design AI operating models aligned with business goals and regulatory standards. Ensure data and model governance, security, lineage, and ethical use of AI are embedded in all implementations, supporting compliance with evolving global standards. Develop thought leadership, lead proposal development, and identify market opportunities to expand Deloitte's presence in the AI and data space across Southeast Asia. Mentor and grow a high-performing AI & Data team, fostering innovation and capability development in emerging AI technologies. You must have strong implementation experience in one or more of the following areas: AI and GenAI Platforms : Hands-on experience designing, deploying, or fine-tuning models on platforms such as OpenAI (Azure OpenAI Service), Google Vertex AI, AWS Bedrock/SageMaker, or Hugging Face. Familiarity with orchestration tools like LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or crewAI is highly valued. Data Engineering & Real-time Data Pipelines : Building robust data architectures to support AI and analytics at scale using tools like Databricks, Snowflake, Google BigQuery, AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse, or Delta Lake. Integration experience with streaming data platforms (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis, Pub/Sub) is a plus. Modern BI & Decision Intelligence : Developing real-time, interactive dashboards and executive decision platforms using tools such as Power BI, Looker, Tableau, ThoughtSpot, or Amazon QuickSight-often in combination with embedded AI insights. AI Model Ops and Lifecycle Management : Experience with full model lifecycle-training, monitoring, retraining, and scaling-using MLOps platforms such as MLflow, Azure ML, Vertex AI Pipelines, or AWS SageMaker Pipelines. Data Readiness & Governance for AI : Deep expertise in data governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA, DCAM), metadata management, master data management (MDM), and data privacy/security best practices that ensure high-quality, trustworthy data for AI use. Responsible & Ethical AI : Knowledge of implementing responsible AI frameworks including bias mitigation, explainability, fairness, auditability, and alignment with governance standards such as ISO 42001, NIST AI RMF, and emerging regional regulations.
