Responsibilities
- Undertake technical work as an environmental consultant or scientist for environmental monitoring and management, and environmental impact assessments projects
- Support the project manager in managing resources, schedules, sub-contractors, budgets and risks, to meet delivery and financial targets
- As part of a team to support with client liaison and consultations with regulatory agencies and other project stakeholders
- Provide input to strategies and support in the preparation and submission of proposals and tenders for new projects

- Education and Experience
- Preferably a degree in an environmental engineering or science discipline
- Working experience at least 2-3 years in similar industry
- Preferably recent work experience or other environmental training within Singapore
- Environmental consultancy experience looked upon favourably but not a pre-requisite
- Knowledge and Skills
- Knowledge and understanding of water quality, environmental sustainability, coastal processes, noise, vibration, air quality and/or marine/terrestrial ecology
- Understanding of construction methods in the built environment
- Good cooperative interpersonal skills, working with a wide range of colleagues of diverse backgrounds and nationalities
- Confidence to work with different external stakeholders (e.g. developers, contractors, government agencies, NGOs, etc)
- Attention to detail with good verbal, analytical and writing skills, professional presentation and communication competencies
- Working knowledge of MS Office suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Experience with any environmental modelling software would be looked on favourably
- Ability to work well independently, under pressure and demanding deadlines, as part of a team, in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with multiple projects and various stakeholders
- Self-motivated, creative, energetic, willing to learn new skills, and interested in continuous improvement, through best practices and research
- Ability to work flexibly in response to project needs and deliverables that may occasionally include weekends and public holidays
