Additional Information

Join the team rewriting the rules in private markets. Moonfare delivers what few others can: the highly sought-after funds and hidden-gem investments that go beyond what most private banks offer. Every opportunity is subjected to a ruthless vetting process; the bar is unforgivingly high. The result? Institutional-quality portfolios for investors who demand more. Our team combines finance veterans with talent from tech, consulting, law and industries you'd never expect. Headquartered in Berlin, we operate from eight offices across Europe, the US and Asia. If you're ready to build what's next in private markets, let's talk. Fund Operations Analyst (m/f/d) As a Fund Operations Analyst, you will take real ownership of the operational production that keeps Moonfare's investment vehicles running, fund and investor reporting above all, within our Fund Operations Services team. This is an early-career role with a clear growth path: you will do the work today and help build the systems that do it tomorrow. You will start by taking on recurring production, learn each process end to end, and then partner with Engineering and Data to standardise and automate it, growing toward a fully trained fund operations generalist with full-lifecycle exposure, from inception to liquidation. You Will: Produce, validate, and distribute Moonfare's recurring investor and fund reports (quarterly reports, capital account statements), reconciling data against source documents and flagging discrepancies before anything goes out Perform first-level review and reconciliation of NAVs, capital accounts, and distributions prepared by our fund administrator; support the planning and execution of fund cash flows (capital calls, distributions, transfers) under senior review, with four-eyes on every cash movement Support the organisation of board meetings for investor admissions and subscriptions, and maintain accurate, timely updates across our feeder and investor databases Document every process you take on, turning manual, tacit steps into clear, repeatable SOPs Partner with Engineering and Data to automate recurring reporting and reconciliation, and identify process-improvement initiatives across fund operations, leveraging AI and automation tools with human-in-the-loop checkpoints on anything that feeds regulated or investor-facing output The Next Moonfarian: Experience: +1 years in financial services. Private markets, fund administration, or transfer agency experience is a plus. Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Banking, Economics, or a related field. Master's a plus. Excel proficiency: Advanced Excel skills, financial modelling, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP. Appetite to learn SQL or light scripting (e.g. Python) is a strong plus. Familiarity with HubSpot, Tableau, Jira, and Confluence is a plus. Analytical rigour: Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail. You are comfortable living in financial data and unlikely to let a discrepancy slide. Stakeholder management: Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and processes simultaneously without dropping the ball. Automation mindset: A genuine interest in automation and AI tooling. You would rather build a process that runs itself than do it by hand twice. If you feel you do not meet all of the requirements, we still encourage you to apply! Invest in Yourself: Ownership and Impact: you are empowered to bring ideas, make decisions, and see your work directly contribute to Moonfare's success. Transparent Environment: we believe in open communication. You will receive regular updates on company strategy, performance against our KPIs, and key business decisions. Personal Growth: we support your development with an individual growth budget of €1,500 or 2% of your base salary (whichever is higher). Invest in Your Future: we support your long-term financial goals with a company pension scheme, providing a 20% employer contribution. Relax and Recharge: you start with 25 vacation days and receive one additional day for each year of tenure, up to a maximum of 30 days. Daily Lunch: enjoy a free lunch every day in the Berlin office, with a weekly changing menu that includes salads, curries, pastas, and a variety of vegan and vegetarian options. Subsidised Public Transport: we support your commute with a monthly subsidy for the Deutschland job ticket. Fitness and Wellbeing: stay active with a subsidised Urban Sports Club membership, giving you flexible access to a wide variety of sports and wellness activities across Germany. A Culture of Excellence: join a team of ambitious, smart, and committed professionals who are passionate about revolutionising private market investing. Our Values: Client-Centric Focus: our clients come first, Moonfare comes second, and we prioritise ourselves third. Putting clients first means creating value for them is essential. Placing Moonfare second signifies that our individual professional future at Moonfare depends
