Personal Support Worker (PSW) - Casual - Forest Trail

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with mobility, feeding, bathing, toileting and personal grooming
• Encourage resident participation in activities and programs
• Provide emotional and social support to residents and families

• Able to perform physical tasks and duties, including frequent bending, reaching and lifting
• Compassion, professionalism, and respect
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
• Must provide a complete and current (within three months) Vulnerable Sector Check (including a Criminal Background Check) or be willing to obtain one.

Job Description Personal Support Worker (PSW) **We are hiring staff for our new home Forest Trail in Peterborough, On. As a valued member of our RPN team, you will provide care to residents in accordance with the standards of practice and offer leadership and guidance to the personal care staff. This position is for our Forest Trail Home, located in 514 Deline St. Peterborough, ON K9K 1T3. *** This position starts as casual in our Peterborough LTC home and will transition to Part Time or Casual at our new Forest Trail LTC home in Fall 2026***
