Responsibilities

  • Requirements / Qualifications

Requirements

  • Behavioral Health Practitioner Supervisor I: Nebraska License as Mental Health Practitioner.
  • Behavioral Health Practitioner Supervisor II: State of Nebraska licenses as Mental Health Practitioner and Alcohol and Drug Counselor.
  • Legal Requirements:
  • BHPS I: Licensure requirements pursuant to Nebraska State Statutes 38-2122 and 38-316.
  • BHPS II: Licensure requirements pursuant to Nebraska State Statutes 38-2122, 38-2124 and 38-316.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Supervisory experience. Possesses a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP). Experience working with criminal offenders and Serious Mental Illness (SMI). Bilingual skills in Spanish/English desired and assessed.
