About the role
You will serve as a PHYSICAL SCIENCE TECH (INSTRUCTOR) in the RADIOLOGICAL SUPPORT DIVISION, RADIOLOGICAL CONTROLS OFFICE of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD. To qualify for the GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Experience training and mentoring junior personnel to enhance and develop their organizational skills, accuracy, and qualifications to train. Experience maintaining a thorough knowledge of NAVSEA and local Shipyard radiological control procedures, practices, and requirements at a level equivalent to a Radiological Control Technician Supervisor.
