JOB PURPOSE The Project Manager is responsible for supporting the planning, execution, tracking, and reporting of strategic and operational projects across the Asia Pacific Aftermarket organization. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with clear accountability, while enabling cross functional alignment within both AP region and with global functions. The role plays a critical execution and governance function, translating strategy into structured project plans, milestones, and measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Project Planning & Execution
  • Support and coordinate end to end project lifecycle activities, including project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, and dependencies.
  • Track progress against agreed milestones and flag risks, delays, or scope changes early.
  • Ensure project deliverables are clearly defined, documented, and completed as planned.
  • Governance, Tracking & Reporting
  • Maintain project dashboards, milestone trackers, and status reports for management reviews
  • Prepare structured updates for monthly/quarterly reviews and leadership forums
  • Ensure projects follow agreed project management processes, templates, and governance standards
  • Support issue escalation by clearly documenting risks, root causes, and mitigation plans
  • Cross Functional Coordination
  • Act as a coordination point between AP regional team (e.g., sales, category management, supply chain, marketing et etc.) and global team.
  • Organize and facilitate project meetings, action tracking, and follow ups
  • Ensure alignment across functions on priorities, timelines, and responsibilities
  • Support communication between regional and global stakeholders as required
  • Risk & Dependency Management
  • Identify project risks, interdependencies, and resource constraints
  • Track mitigation actions and ensure timely resolution
  • Highlight cross project dependencies that may impact delivery (e.g. data readiness, supplier input, resource availability)
  • Process & Continuous Improvement
  • Support the standardization and continuous improvement of project management tools, templates, and ways of working
  • Capture lessons learned and best practices from completed projects
  • Contribute to building a strong execution culture with clear ownership and accountability

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or related field
  • Excellent English and Chinese communication skills
  • Proficient in data analytics and Microsoft Office
  • Hands on experience managing multiple workstreams and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of project planning, milestone tracking, and risk management
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in a matrix, regional or global organization preferred
