About the role

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in cyber security / information technology OR related experience.
  • 5+ years' experience in Cyber security risk management / policy development/ governance.
  • Strong knowledge of security audit, documentation development, vulnerability management and security event monitoring.
  • Already hold and ability to maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance - must be an Australian Citizen!
  • Ability to work at HMAS Watson, in Watson's Bay - onsite, full time
  • Industry certifications like CISA, ISO Lead Implementer / auditor or similar are desirable
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Potential positions to be based out of Homebush, NSW - working to a hybrid nature

The Cyber Security Specialist (GRC) is responsible for managing and improving customer's security governance, risk management and compliance framework. This role ensures adherence to Defence security regulatory requirements, develop security policies meeting business objectives, conducts regular risk assessments and implement controls to protect customer's digital assets.
