About the role
The Principal Decisioning Architect will lead and oversee the design, development, and implementation of complex decisioning strategies using the Pega Decisioning platform. Responsibilities
- Takes a leadership role in designing and architecting the Pega Decisioning solutions that align with business objectives, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Leads the effort in defining, configuring, and optimizing complex business rules, decision logic, and decision tables within Pega Decisioning to align with business requirements and compliance standards.
- Oversees the Monitoring, analyzing, and improvement of decisioning strategies to improve efficiency, responsiveness, and overall performance and ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance standards.
- Leads the development and implementation of decisioning strategies that leverage machine learning, predictive analytics, and complex business rules to optimize customer interactions and business outcomes.
- Leads the development and management of predictive models, machine learning models, and decision strategies within the Pega Decisioning platform, continually improving accuracy and effectiveness.
- Collaborates with business stakeholders, data scientists, developers, and other teams to ensure successful implementation and continuous optimization of decisioning solutions.
- Oversees the integration of data from various sources, including customer data, transactional data, and external data providers, to enable data-driven decision-making.
- Creates and maintains comprehensive documentation related to advanced decisioning strategies, models, and configurations.

- MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- EDUCATION: Bachelor's FIELD OF STUDY: Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
- EXPERIENCE: 7+ years as a decisions architect or in a similar technical role with a record of successfully designing and implementing advanced decisioning solutions using Pega or a similar platform.
- KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER ATTRIBUTES:
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in the MS Office Suite and Visio.
- Exposure to Cloud Systems such as BPM and CRM tools.
- Understanding of data analysis, machine learning, predictive modeling, and complex business rule development.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate, partner, and collaborate.
- Dedication to achieving outstanding results. Driven and team-oriented with a demonstrated ability to lead by example.
- Able to pick up new concepts and technology rapidly; able to explain it to both business & IT stakeholders.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

- Annual Salary: $83,300.00 - $132,799.00 (Amount based on office location, relevant experience, skills, and competencies)
