• Highway Maintenance Worker : Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license.
• Highway Maintenance Worker/Senior : Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license, and possession of a Class A or B Commercial Driver's License with air brakes and tanker endorsements is required within 60 days of employment.

Operate heavy equipment to maintain highways and highway right of way. Operate post drivers for the installation of signs, fences, guardrails, and other hand-held power and manual tools. Perform manual labor for concrete and bituminous patching and sealing of cracks in highways and structures. Perform varied maintenance functions such as spot patching. Manually provide highway traffic control for construction and maintenance projects according to safety procedures. Complete routine and general maintenance and mechanic repair on equipment. Repair highway signs. Perform snow removal. Load and unload materials and supplies. Operate heavy highway maintenance equipment. May apply chemicals of selective and non-selective herbicides spray to the highway right of way. Possibility of working night shift from April 15 through October. Perform other duties as assigned.
