Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment, such as motors, pumps, belts, fans, air conditioners, etc.
- Disassemble machines and repair or replace broken parts.
- Examine mechanical equipment to diagnose trouble.

- Experience and Skill Required
- 6 or more years of experience in maintenance and a technical degree or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Effectively communicate and work in a team environment.
- Accurately read and comprehend moderately complex material (instruction manuals, procedural manuals, warning labels, electrical prints, ladder diagrams, blueprints, charts, technical repair manuals)
- Ability to write to record basic information (prepare reports, record maintenance activities, completing forms, taking messages, etc.).
- Knowledge of and ability to compute basic arithmetic skills such as, or comparable to: add, subtract, multiply, and divide fractions and decimals.
- Proficient knowledge in computer applications to produce basic/standard output (word processing, graphics, spreadsheets, standard or recurring reports, etc.).
- Knowledge of and ability to design and build electrical circuits.
- Proficient in CNC machine control functions and operations.
- Proficient in hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components.
- Knowledge, skill, and ability to troubleshoot electrical breakdowns to find the source and repair the problem on a large variety of equipment including CNC machine controls.
- Knowledge of and ability to select and adjust appropriate tools , objects or materials to attain demanding standards in different work situations.
- Knowledge of and ability to use tools or special devices to work, guide or move objects or materials. Start, stop, and control the actions of machines or equipment for which a course must be steered or guided in order to fabricate, process, or move objects.
- Knowledge of and ability to solve unique problems that are diversified and involved. Judgment is required to adapt standard practices and principles to meet new conditions.
- Ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals.
- Associate must provide a complete set of hand tools. Specialty tools will be supplied by Rexnord.
