Requirements
- Professional-level language skills in English (active)with good knowledge of French(passive).
- Master's degree in Translation, Translation Studies, English or a closely related field, membership in a recognized association or order of professional writers, editors or translators, and/or equivalent academic and professional experience.
- Extensive professional experience in English writing, preferably in Canada.
- Good knowledge of common issues arising from language interference in a French-English bilingual environment, and strategies for correcting them.
- Excellent knowledge of common text types and writing conventions in traditional and multimedia environments.University-level teaching experience is an asset.
