Your new role As a Performance and Insight Manager, you will partner closely with business leaders to translate complex problems into actionable analytics and measurable outcomes. Key responsibilities will include: Translate business challenges into analytical frameworks, selecting appropriate tools and methodologies Deliver insights through data analysis, modelling and visualisation to support decision making Act as a trusted advisor to underwriting, pricing and other key stakeholders, translating insights into clear portfolio performance actions that drive QBE's strategic ambitions. Contribute to the development of a trusted, enterprise‑wide data asset. Lead complex analytical projects end-to-end, while managing and developing the team to deliver high-quality outcomes. Effectively prioritise workload and manage competing demands within resource constraints About you You are a commercially focused analytics professional who can translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and influence stakeholder decision-making across the business. You bring strong technical capability with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences. You will also bring: Experience in an actuarial, data analytics, data science or similar analytical role Strong analytical capability and problem solving skills with a focus on accuracy, clarity and translating insights into practical outcomes. Confidence engaging with stakeholders, understanding their needs and communicating insights in a simple, effective way. Experience in managing complex analytical projects Advanced experience with SQL, Python, reporting and visualisation tools such as Power BI and Excel Tertiary qualification in Actuarial, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics or a related analytical field (preferred)
