Requirements

• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs repeatedly throughout the day
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and ride on the back of the truck for extended periods
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Team-oriented mindset
• Schedule:
• Early morning start times (typically 5:00 AM-6:00 AM)
• Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays as needed

Driver Helper Company: Waste Connections Position Summary: Waste Connections is looking for a safety-conscious Driver Helper to join our team. This role involves assisting the driver with residential and/or commercial route collections while ensuring excellent customer service and efficient operations. Job Duties: Ride on the back of the truck and assist the driver on collection routes Collect and dump residential and/or commercial waste and recyclables Safely load and unload materials into the truck Navigate routes and assist with directions as needed Maintain awareness of surroundings to ensure safe operations at all times Provide courteous and professional service to customers Follow all company safety policies and procedures
