Software Development - Android Developer

About the role

Develop and maintain Android applications using Java and/or Kotlin programming languages. Design and implement user interfaces that align with mobile UI/UX best practices and design specifications. Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services to enable seamless app functionality. Debug, test, and optimize applications for performance, reliability, and user experience. Implement Android architecture patterns and utilize Jetpack libraries for modern app development. Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend developers to translate requirements into technical solutions. Manage version control using Git and maintain code quality standards through code reviews. Degree in Computer Science or similar. 3+ years of professional experience developing Android applications. Strong proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin programming languages. Solid understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, and the Android development lifecycle. Experience with RESTful API integration and mobile networking. Knowledge of Android architecture patterns (MVVM, MVP, or MVC). Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git. Experience with debugging tools and performance optimization techniques. Fluency in English (spoken and written).
