Responsibilities

  • Exceptional organizational skills, as demonstrated by detailed record-keeping in a lab notebook and an ability to effectively carry out multiple ongoing projects or experiments
  • Experience with isolation and functional characterization of primary cells
  • Experience developing animal models of cell dysfunction and/or injury
  • Experience with FACS and flow cytometry
  • Experience using computational tools to automate routine data analysis (e.g. Python, R, etc.)

Position NewLimit is seeking an Senior/Research Associate with experience in discovery biology to join our Vascular therapeutic team. Our Vascular program is developing reprogramming medicines to restore youthful function in aged endothelial cells for the treatment of renal, cardiometabolic, and cognitive diseases. Your role will focus on supporting the development of in vitro assays and pre-clinical models to measure the functional decline that occurs in endothelial cells with age. You will collaborate closely with our scientists as well as our technology-focused teams to help create the first reprogramming medicines for the vascular tissue.
