Liquid Personnel is seeking a passionate and dedicated Supervising Social Worker to join an Ofsted 'outstanding' rated independent fostering service covering Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. This role will be primarily based in Mansfield with weekly travel to a regional office. The post is full-time, permanent (37.5 hours) with a salary up to £41,400 plus £3,400 car allowance. Role Overview: Provide intensive support to foster carers and their families to ensure high-quality care for vulnerable children. Work in accordance with Fostering Services (England) Regulations 2011 and National Minimum Standards 2011. What will your responsibilities be? Monthly supervision of a manageable caseload (12-15 fostering households). Undertake planned and unannounced visits to children in placement. Formulate development plans for foster carers. Forge effective working relationships with local authorities responsible for children. Maintain accurate recording and report writing; ensure compliance with standards. Promote and safeguard the wellbeing of children at all times.
