As our new experienced Data Compliance Officer / Data Records Manager to support the effective deployment of First Line of Defense (LOD1) Data Compliance, you will contribute to protecting the company and its customers while strengthening compliance through trusted and well‑managed data. You will be responsible for coordinating the implementation of Data Records Management policies and procedures, in alignment with SG Group guidelines and priorities. Your responsibilities will include: Coordinating cross‑functional teams across international entities to ensure the successful deployment of the Data Records Management policy Implementing data lifecycle management processes, playing a key role in strengthening data compliance programs Supporting departments in recording, implementing, and maintaining data retention and disposal rules Driving the records management deployment strategy within your perimeter, including the purging strategy Advising and supporting stakeholders involved in purge implementation (systems, principles, methodology, tooling, etc.) Communicating status, issues, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders through clear reporting and presentations Monitoring progress, identifying risks, and managing mitigation actions across initiatives Who are we looking for? Proven experience (7 - 10 years) delivering projects or initiatives in data, analytics, IT transformation, compliance, or governance, ideally in a multi-stakeholder Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and align teams across functions and locations Solid knowledge of data lifecycle and records management (retention, disposal, and practical implementation of records practices) Good understanding of data privacy and protection regulations (e.g., GDPR and local laws) and ability to work within regulatory/audit/IT constraints Strong project-oriented mindset: able to monitor progress, dependencies and risks, and drive mitigation actions through structured follow-up and reporting The ideal candidate combines excellent stakeholder and communication skills with sufficient technical understanding of data architecture and lifecycle topics, and a structured, delivery‑driven approach to records management and data compliance. You will have relevant experience in a similar role, preferably holding a master's degree in information systems, Data Management, or a related field. Additional requirements : Ability to work in project mode and manage complex, multi‑stakeholder initiatives Ability to build strong relationships with application owners, IT teams, and Security Ability to provide clear guidance and technical advice to business and delivery teams Strong training, facilitation, and awareness‑raising skills Comfortable producing clear reporting and presentations for senior stakeholders Fluent English is required What do we offer?
