Interpret work orders and verbal instructions to determine tasks and material requirements. Conduct daily furnace inspections. Basic knowledge of furnace and ladle repair. Use of pneumatic air tools. Operate a remote-controlled overhead crane. Operating air / gas-controlled ladle torches Basic knowledge of the process of capturing iron / base chemistry samples Maintain transfer ladles during operation. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Meet or exceed hourly production targets. Report equipment issues or production errors to supervisors.
