Senior Support Worker - Learning Disabilities - Evesham

About the role

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will support the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring customers receive high-quality, person-centred support. You will work closely with the management team to promote independence, choice and inclusion while helping to maintain a safe, compliant and effective service. Key responsibilities include: Deputising for the Service Manager when required Supporting the day-to-day operation of the service Acting as a positive role model and supporting colleagues on shift Building strong relationships with customers, families and healthcare professionals Supporting customers to achieve their goals and access meaningful activities Organising events, activities and community outings Ensuring compliance with internal policies and health and social care regulations Supporting quality assurance processes, audits and record management Assisting with staff training, supervision and development This is a full-time role requiring flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends as required. About You At least two years' experience working in the care sector is preferred Previous experience supporting people with learning disabilities is desirable Previous experience in a Senior Support Worker, Team Leader, Deputy or Supervisory role is advantageous A caring, compassionate and positive approach Excellent communication and leadership skills The ability to remain flexible and adapt under pressure Strong organisational skills and confidence in completing audits and maintaining records A commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred support Full training and ongoing development opportunities are provided.
