Job Responsibilities: Lead the planning, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of nursing services to support the Nursing Home's strategic goals and operational objectives. Ensure compliance with all nursing standards, regulations, and licensing requirements set by the Ministry of Health (MOH) and the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) across the assigned nursing home cluster. Support the Director of Nursing (DON) in identifying and implementing new resident care programmes and initiatives to address service gaps. Ensure appropriate staffing levels, skill mix, and manpower allocation across all shifts and service areas. Drive operational efficiency by maintaining cost-effective nursing services while achieving optimal resident care outcomes. Promote and implement evidence-based nursing practices to enhance the quality and consistency of care delivery. Monitor resident care trends, assess changing healthcare needs, and recommend improvements to nursing services. Ensure up-to-date job descriptions for all healthcare staff are maintained, approved by management, and readily accessible. Lead staff development by driving competency enhancement, professional growth, and continuous learning through formal education, in-house training, and accredited online programmes. Oversee the Training Department to develop and deliver training programmes that equip healthcare staff with the competencies required to meet residents' care needs. Ensure nursing policies, procedures, and work processes are regularly reviewed, updated, and effectively communicated to support safe and high-quality care delivery. Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Supervisor or Management.
