About the role

NESST Singapore Limited is looking for an Assistant Manager / Senior Executive, Programmes & Events to support the planning, coordination and delivery of meaningful migrant-worker-centric programmes, large-scale corporate and targeted stakeholder and media engagements. This role requires a resourceful, hands-on and people-oriented team member who can support both the strategic thinking and ground execution of programmes and events. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working across planning, coordination, logistics, stakeholder follow-up and on-ground execution, while growing in confidence to take ownership of assigned workstreams. This role would suit someone with good energy, maturity, strong follow-through and a can-do attitude - someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in detail, and is keen to contribute to meaningful work in a dynamic and growing organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Support programming and events. Support the end-to-end planning and execution of key migrant-worker-centric programmes and events, including media events, stakeholder and partnership engagements. Responsibilities include event conceptualisation, programme design, stage and show support, logistics planning, vendor coordination, budget tracking, publicity and design briefing, guest experience planning, briefing materials preparation and on-ground execution. The role requires close collaboration with internal teams and external partners and may require travel across sites.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders. Coordinate with internal teams, migrant workers, community partners, vendors, industry sponsors and other stakeholders to ensure smooth planning and delivery. The role requires comfort engaging both migrant workers and corporate stakeholders, the ability to build strong working relationships, and clear follow-through to keep stakeholders aligned towards shared outcomes.
  • Own assigned workstreams from planning to execution. Take ownership of assigned parts of a programme or event, and ensure effective follow-through from start to finish. This includes managing moving timelines, tracking tasks, preparing materials, flagging issues early, solving practical problems, and ensuring that details are well-managed. While not expected to independently lead all events from the onset, the candidate should demonstrate readiness to grow into leading larger workstreams over time.
  • Support post-event learning and continuous improvement Assist with post-event and post-programme reviews by gathering feedback, documenting learnings and identifying practical improvements for future runs. This includes contributing to playbooks, process improvements and strengthening the quality of future events and programmes.
  • Secondary Responsibilities
  • The role may also support:
  • Preparation of event briefs, programme decks, simple reports, photo selections, captions or related communication materials.
  • Coordination of resident engagement efforts, including working with migrant worker leaders or volunteers to support participation and gather feedback.
  • Administrative and operational support for team-wide initiatives, partnership activities or special projects where required.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in events management, programme coordination, community engagement, stakeholder coordination, hospitality, operations, volunteering or project coordination would be helpful. We are open to candidates from different backgrounds, provided they demonstrate strong ownership, maturity, resourcefulness and follow through.
  • No specific degree discipline is required. We are more interested in attitude, aptitude, energy and ability to get things done well.
  • Strong coordination and organisational skills, with the ability to manage timelines, tasks, logistics and follow-ups.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work with residents, partners, vendors and internal teams.
  • Comfortable supporting both planning and execution, including administrative work, stakeholder coordination and event-day operations.
  • Adaptable, hands-on and steady in a fast-moving environment
  • Candidate Profile
