Job Description/Preferred Qualifications Day to day responsibilities include: Designing 3D parts/assemblies using Solid Edge CAD Creating/detailing 2D draft drawings using Solid Edge CAD Creating engineering bills of materials Bill of material cost control Supplier contact Building and testing prototypes Leading small projects from concept to implementation Collaborating with other teams across the company KLA is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. For this role we are looking for someone who: Has experience in designing parts/assemblies and creating/detailing 2D draft drawings using Solid Edge CAD Is experienced in design of machinery Has a proven experience in report writing Has a flexible work ethic, and be willing to work overtime if necessary Can demonstrate analytical and fault-finding skills Can use their own initiative Had good communication skills Enjoys working in a team environment Experience in the following areas is desirable but not essential: A good understanding of Machinery safety regulations and EU harmonized standards including PL rating, Risk Assessments and CE marking Previous experience of working in the semiconductor or hi-technology related industry would be advantageous. Design for manufacture COMSOL multi physics simulation software Some appreciation of software development Some knowledge of ERP/PLM systems What we will offer you?
