Responsibilities
- As a Geotechnical Engineer / Geologist in our Ground and Underground team based in Queensland, you'll contribute to a range of infrastructure and energy projects, working alongside a team that values collaboration, curiosity, and practical solutions.
- Support planning and delivery of geotechnical site investigations in line with relevant standards
- Assist with geotechnical analysis, design, and reporting across projects
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to meet project requirements
- Contribute to high-quality technical outputs and documentation
- Support ongoing project delivery across infrastructure, including major programs and other linear and energy projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil / Geotechnical Engineering, or Bachelor of Science in Geology (or related discipline)
- 2-3 years of professional experience in geotechnical engineering or geology (consulting experience preferred, but not essential)
- Experience in geotechnical site investigations, with willingness to travel as required
- Working knowledge of geotechnical software such as PLAXIS, GeoStudio, Rocscience, OpenGround, or Leapfrog (beneficial but not mandatory)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and openness to developing new technical capabilities
- Field experience from consulting, contractors, or drilling environments is advantageous
