Responsibilities
- Support the end-to-end processing and management of transactions within Global Markets.
- Monitor and manage operational workflows to ensure timely and accurate execution.
- Partner with internal stakeholders across Sales, Trading, Compliance, Middle Office, Settlements, and Technology teams.
- Assist in identifying operational risks, control gaps, and process improvement opportunities.
- Analyse data, prepare reports, and support presentations for management and key stakeholders.
- Investigate and resolve trade exceptions and operational issues in a timely manner.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, market standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to workflow enhancement and automation initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce risk.
- Support client servicing activities and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in strategic projects focused on operational excellence and risk management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Banking, Accountancy, Information Systems, Engineering, or related disciplines.
- 0-1 year of experience in finance, banking, operations, or related fields (internships are welcome).
- Strong interest in financial markets and the trade lifecycle.
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with data analysis tools is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
