RN - Whitefish Birth Center - PRN

Responsibilities

• This role offers the opportunity to provide care across labor and delivery, postpartum, and Level I nursery in a supportive, team-based environment.
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in all areas of the birthing experience
• Collaborate with providers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, evidence-based care
• Participate in a culture of continuous learning, quality improvement, and shared success

Requirements

• An experienced OB/Labor and Delivery nurse
• A calm, confident presence in high-stakes situations
• You value strong teamwork and communication skills
• Committed to patient-centered care and lifelong learning
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Graduate from school of professional nursing required.
• Current Montana RN License or a multi-state compact license with authorization to practice nursing within the state of Montana; required.
• Experience in a related unit is required. We are currently only accepting applicants with prior OB/Labor and Delivery experience.
• RQI Provider (BLS) within 7 days of hire/transfer or before independent patient care, whichever comes first.
• ALS(ACLS) within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• Birth Center:
• Current NRP certification - within six (6) months of hire required.
• EFM certification or EFM instructor status- within six (6) months of hire required.
• STABLE preferred.

• Shift:
• Variable (United States of America)
• Schedule: PRN, Variable shifts. Shifts will primarily include 12-hour night shifts, but may be day shift as well. Applicants must be willing to work night shifts.
• Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
