Motor Claims Executive - Insurance Sector Job Responsibilities Handle and manage a portfolio of Motor Insurance Claims, including Own Damage (OD), Windscreen, Third Party Property Damage (TPPD), Third Party Bodily Injury (TPBI), Excess Recovery, and Non-BOLA Recovery claims. Liaise and coordinate with policyholders, intermediaries, investigators, surveyors, loss adjusters, legal counsel, third-party claimants, and repair workshops to ensure efficient claims handling. Provide guidance and support to Claims Assistants in their day-to-day responsibilities and operational matters. Assess, investigate, and process claims promptly, professionally, and fairly in accordance with established service standards, claims procedures, and regulatory requirements. Prepare settlement recommendations and seek Management approval for claims involving fatality or serious bodily injury cases. Authorize and process claim payments within the delegated authority limit while ensuring accuracy and completeness of payment details. Work closely with panel solicitors and third-party lawyers on litigated claims, including cases involving Originating Claims. Engage solicitors to enter appearances where necessary and obtain legal advice on liability and quantum assessments. Actively pursue and monitor excess recovery claims to maximize recoveries and ensure timely follow-up actions. Conduct regular file reviews to ensure claim reserves remain adequate and claim statuses are updated accurately. Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the immediate superior or Management from time to time.
