- Essential Functions and Duties :
- Achieve assigned meeting planner satisfaction scores, revenue goals, and food and beverage targets.
- Conduct solicitation calls, property tours, and client entertainment to secure business.
- Monitor and evaluate trends within the assigned market segment.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of hotel operations and policies.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of banquet event orders and communicate changes to relevant departments.
- Maintain visibility in local community and industry organizations to build relationships and generate business.
- Assist with special promotions related to direct sales segments, including participation in sales blitzes.
- Attend and participate in daily, weekly, and monthly meetings as required by management.
- Collaborate with the Area Director of Sales to meet revenue and event goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster repeat business and client satisfaction.
- Ensure all events are executed according to client specifications, maintaining high service standards .
- Provide timely and accurate reports on event outcomes and client feedback to management.

- Required Experience, Education, and Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in event management, hotel management, or convention center operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality , Event Management, or a related field preferred.
- CI/TY experience highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of event planning, food and beverage management, and Conference and events services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with clients, staff, and vendors.
- Ability to manage multiple events and meet revenue and service goals.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling various tasks and responsibilities simultaneously.
- Work Environment :
- Primarily indoor work with frequent walking, standing, and lifting of objects up to 20 lbs.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet the demands of scheduled events.
- Regular interaction with clients, hotel staff, and vendors in a fast-paced, event-driven environment .
