System Analyst, Banking (1-year renewable contract)

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from various stakeholders, translate complex business requirements into clear, concise, and comprehensive functional and non-functional specifications, use cases, user stories, and other relevant documentation.
• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to gather requirements, present findings, and obtain stakeholder approvals.
• Analyze and propose system solutions, including data models, process flows, and integration points, aligning with architectural standards and security policies.
• Work closely with development teams, architects, and quality assurance teams throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure solutions meet business objectives and technical standards.
• Support system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT) support, and defect analysis to ensure the quality and integrity of delivered solutions.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive system documentation, including user manuals, functional specifications, and training materials.
• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design, to testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders such as project managers, developers, testers, and other IT professionals to ensure project success.
• Ensure adherence to the bank's project management methodologies, policies, and quality standards.
• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in system analysis and design.
• Assist in the creation of training materials and provide support to end-users on new or enhanced system functionalities.
