Responsibilities

  • Geological site characterization: Conduct site investigations, geological mapping, prepare geotechnical investigation plans, and data collection to inform project design and development.

Requirements

  • Education: Master's degree in Geology, Engineering Geology.
  • Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in engineering geology in the hydropower industry. Work on detailed engineering or on construction projects will be preferable.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of geological principles, rock mechanics, and geotechnics. Proficiency in geological software and tools, such as geological modeling and analysis software.
  • Preferred Experience:
  • Experience with hydropower and PSP projects.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Job Summary: We're seeking an experienced Engineering Geologist having more than 15 years of experience to join our team in designing, developing, and implementing hydropower and pumped storage power (PSP) projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geology, geotechnics, and rock mechanics, with experience in applying geological principles to engineering problems. The candidate must have knowledge of industry standards and guidelines of statutory authorities.
