About the role

The Compliance Coordinator, working in collaboration with and in support of the firm's strategic initiatives , supports the firm's Office of General Counsel ("OGC") by providing administrative coordination for several areas of firm compliance operations and risk management initiatives, including due diligence activities. Location This position can sit in our Atlanta, Baltimore, Northern Virginia, Philadelphia, Raleigh, Short Hills, Washington, DC, or Wilmington office and offers a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in organization and first level review of background checks for potential timekeeper candidates.
  • Track issues from identification through resolution.
  • Assist in monitoring attorney licensing compliance.
  • Review and research compliance requests from firm attorneys and business professionals.
  • Assist in creation and maintenance of databases.
  • Research public records using public websites.
  • Perform database research and data entry.
  • Compile and organize information from various internal firm sources to support OGC projects.
  • Assist with preparing a variety of documents, forms, charts, letters, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum Education
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Minimum Years of Experience
  • 2 years demonstrated success working in a fast-paced legal environment.
