We invite applications from outstanding candidates in macroeconomics for a full-time, fixed-term Lecturer in Economics (T eaching and R esearch ) position (equivalent to Assistant Professor in North America). Successful candidates are expected to allocate their contributions as follows: 40% to teaching and related activities, 40% to research, and 20% to governance, leadership, and engagement. Your key responsibilities will be to: e ngage in high quality research and scholarship deliver high quality teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programs, integrating cutting edge research and scholarship into the curriculum to enrich student learning c reate engaging, inclusive learning environments that reflect the University's commitment to excellence in education and student experience About you a PhD in Economics or a closely related field (such as econometrics, international or financial economics, public economics, or other macro-relevant disciplines ) deep and broad experience in teaching and learning, with evidence by participation in team teaching within an established program and experience in teaching in a variety of settings demonstrated success in designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating teaching and learning initiatives demonstrated ability in developing and maintaining supportive and collaborative relationships with a wide range of colleagues and stakeholders a developing research profile evidenced by original, high-quality and independent research in the discipline or area of expertise At the University of Sydney, you will join a globally recognised institution committed to excellence in research, teaching and societal impact.
