About the role

Project Execution (Mission-Critical Focus) Manage day-to-day site operations for data center construction (CSA + MEP). Coordinate contractors across critical systems including power, cooling, and fire protection. Ensure works align with fast-track schedules typical of hyperscale and colocation builds. MEP Systems Oversight Oversee installation and integration of critical infrastructure:Medium/low voltage power distribution (switchgear, transformers, UPS, generators)Cooling systems (CRAC/CRAH units, chillers, cooling towers)Structured cabling and ICT infrastructure Ensure redundancy configurations (N+1, 2N, etc.) are properly implemented. Standards & Compliance Ensure compliance with local regulations and authority requirements (e.g., Singapore's Building and Construction Authority). Align construction with industry standards such as Uptime Institute Tier classifications and/or TIA standards. Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Enforce strict safety standards due to high-risk electrical and mechanical works. Conduct regular audits, risk assessments, and toolbox meetings. Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) Ensure all installations meet mission-critical tolerances and specifications. Monitor inspections, testing, and turnover processes. Manage punch lists and defect rectification. Testing & Commissioning Support Coordinate with commissioning teams for:Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT)Site Acceptance Tests (SAT)Integrated Systems Testing (IST) Ensure systems are ready for energization and operational validation. Schedule & Cost Control Track progress against critical milestones (e.g., RFSU - Ready for Service). Identify risks to schedule and implement recovery plans. Support cost tracking, variation orders, and contractor claims. Vendor & Contractor Coordination Manage general contractors, MEP subcontractors, and equipment vendors. Ensure proper sequencing and interface coordination between trades. Documentation & Handover Ensure completion of as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and turnover packages. Support smooth transition to operations and facilities teams.
