Senior Product Engineer P40: We are looking for a self-motivated, data oriented Senior Product Engineer based in San Jose, Rose Orchard Fab. This Product Engineer will be responsible for overseeing new chip product introduction, production ramp, yield sustaining and improvement in foundries to support Lumentum's business needs and demand in High Power Laser business. In this position you will: Drive yield improvement and product cost reduction post production ramp from Fabrication to Final test. Perform statistical data analysis and trouble shoot potential root causes for yield excursion in foundries Run process vs product parameter correlation to understand process/product margin and drive improvement Monitor and review day-to-day operations with foundries to meet quality and delivery goals Run process vs product parameter correlation to understand process/product margin and drive improvement Drive yield improvement and product cost reduction post production ramp in foundries Engineering material disposition Support failure analysis for production and RMA Support closure of quality cases and enforcement of foundry quality improvement Failure analysis for NPI and sustaining products and RMA Engineering material disposition at wafer acceptance test Co-ordinate with R&D, Product Engineering, process integration and contract manufacturer and collect necessary information to provide faster response to the customer for field failures
