About the role

The purpose of the Pensions Specialist (m/f/d) role is to support the administration of Haleon's Pension Plans globally with a strong focus on Germany. The role focuses on ensuring accurate processing, efficient operations and effective co-ordination with internal stakeholders and external providers. You will work in close partnership with the Haleon Pension Managers and other members of broader Reward team. This role is based in Munich, Germany.
Responsibilities
- Support the administration of Haleon pension plans globally, with a particular focus on the German pension plans.
- Coordinate with external pension providers and consultants to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Ensure data integrity across systems (providers, Workday, Payroll etc).
- Assist with audits, regulatory filings, and internal controls related to pension plans.
- Help to maintain a global repository of all post-Retirement plans utilizing a data repository.
- Support RBP team on communication planning and knowledge standardization.
- Participate in other Pension and Benefits related projects.
- Make recommendations for continuous improvement and simplification of processes and practices in conjunction with broader HR Transformation framework.
- Qualifications and skills
- Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
- Experience administering German pension plans, ideally within a multinational organisation.
- Understanding of German pension regulations, tax treatment and social security interactions.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data handling and documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex pension topics clearly.
- Advanced excel skills. Experience with HR systems (preferably Workday).
- Simplification mindset, evidenced by demonstrable examples of process improvement and automation.
