C++ Software Engineer (Semiconductor - North)

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software for automated semiconductor process equipment
• Enhance equipment performance through continuous improvement initiatives (CIPs) and development projects
• Provide field support for system upgrades and troubleshooting of customer issues

Requirements

• Degree and above in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineer or other related disciplines.
• At least 1 year of experience in programming within Windows environments (XP and above)
• Strong proficiency in C++, VC++, MFC, SQL, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Experience in developing multi-threaded control software
• Knowledge of SEMI SECS/GEM equipment connectivity standards and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Hands-on experience with hardware systems such as Servo and Stepper Motion Controllers, Analog Devices, and High-Speed I/O
• Knowledge of PLC systems is an added advantage
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
