Responsibilities

  • Understand and interpret product nomenclature, including working from drawings, pick lists, assembly instructions, and technical documentation.
  • Prepare and fulfill orders as according to the order specification.
  • Operate hand tools, such as grinders, saws, drills, pneumatic nail guns, sanders, and more.

  • What You Need to Succeed:
  • Entry level position. 1+ years of assembly or other manufacturing experienced preferred.

  • Following safety protocols and maintaining hazard awareness.
  • Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Physical Demands:
  • Manual Dexterity: Ability to handle parts and tools with precision.
  • Repetitive Motion: Perform repetitive motions such as bending, twisting, kneeling, stooping, lifting, gripping, and grasping with hands.
  • Standing Duration: Ability to stand for up to 10 hours per shift.
  • Lifting Requirements: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Lift Assist Devices: Use of overhead crane and forklift with training may be required.
  • Environmental Exposure: Ability to work in environments with noise, chemicals, dust, sharp objects, moving/rotating mechanical parts, and temperature extremes.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Respirator, fall protection, welding hood, etc. may be required depending on job duty and/or work area

  • Compensation: This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experiences.
  • The expected Base Hourly Range: $21 - $27.02. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

This role primarily works with machines and hand tools to assemble aluminum and wood door components. The role may include support of material handling, quality control, and material packaging. Assembly Technicians may operate machinery, such as forklifts, nail guns, hand drills, and more. Schedule: Monday - Thursday 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
